ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The essential functions of each employee’s position includes (1) regular, dependable in-person attendance on the job; (2) the ability to perform the identified tasks and to possess and utilize the identified knowledge, skills, and abilities and to perform the identified work activities; and (3) the ability to perform the physical requirements on their specific job description.

  3. Monitors students and assists them in program offerings.
  4. Serves as a mentor, encourages youth achievement, and promotes youth development.
  5. Implements and models positive discipline and behavior management.
  6. Attends required staff meetings, training, and professional development as assigned.
  7. Assures that program spaces are well maintained and left as found.
  8. Communicates well with others and has sound decision making skills, versatility, initiative, high energy, and strong human relation skills.
  9. Maintains communication with parents and families.
  10. Performs other related duties as required.
